- What We Do
St. Vincent’s Kitchen Academy is a fourteen week culinary training program designed to provide those impacted by employment barriers with both culinary and life skills. The program holds a 100% job placement rate for students graduating the program.
- How We Do It
Over the course of the program, clients will partake in hands on training from culinary professionals in St. Vincent de Paul Dining Hall’s brand new, state of the art kitchen. Program curriculum includes instruction in baking, grilling, safe food handling, and much more. Throughout the program, clients will also participate in life skills classes. Nearing the end of the program, clients will participate in an externship with a local partner in the food service industry.

Sustainable employment is the key to creating and maintaining self-sufficiency. St. Vincent’s Kitchen Academy provides those interested in starting a new career with culinary skills that will allow them to enter the food service industry and secure long-term employment.

7:00 am-4:00 pm - Eligibility Participants must be below 150% of the HUD poverty line. Prospective students must also complete an application and undergo an interview process.
