By working alongside community partners and donors, The Joyce Hansen Hall Food Bank and Pantry gathers and distributes food resources to those who need it most in our grocery store style facility.
- How We Do It
The Joyce Hansen Hall Food Bank serves community members through food distribution, case management, and resource connection. Volunteers also deliver boxes of food to those who are homebound, elderly, and disabled. The pantry also assists clients with hygiene products, infant formula and diapers, and other household items.

In Utah, over 347,000 people are struggling with hunger. The Joyce Hansen Hall Food Bank and Pantry exists to play a part in alleviating that statistic in our state. As the largest food pantry in Northern Utah, the Joyce Hansen Hall Food Bank serves hundreds of households every month.
Program Details
- Location and Hours
Tuesday-Friday from 9:00 am-12:00 pm.
Fridays are reserved for seniors (60+) and disabled individuals. Every other Thursday of the month, the pantry is open in the evening instead of the morning, from 4:00 pm-6:00pm. Every other Saturday, the pantry is open in the morning from 10:00 am-12:00 pm. View upcoming pantry hours here.
- Eligibility Clients must be below 185% of the poverty level. Registration for food cards is Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. No appointment necessary. Registration is also available during Thursday evening and Saturday morning pantry hours. Clients may access the food pantry once a month to receive food.
