Looking for ways to give back this month? You've come to the right place!
From offering diverse volunteer opportunities that enable individuals to make a difference, to providing avenues for donations that support our programs and clients, Catholic Community Services of Utah invites you to join us in executing our mission.
Below, you’ll find CCS’ current, most pressing needs and the ways that you can get involved.
Food Items Needed at Basic Needs Ogden
CCS' Joyce Hansen Hall Food Bank gathers and distributes food resources to those who need it most in our grocery store style facility.
The program is currently in need of grains, canned meats, and soups to stock the pantry shelves. Other high priority needs can be viewed here. Donations can be made at 2504 F Avenue in Ogden on weekdays 7:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Winter Gear Needed at Basic Needs Salt Lake
CCS’ Basic Needs Salt Lake serves those in our community impacted by homelessness, as well as food and income insecurity.
Currently, the facility is in need of winter gloves and socks, as well as men's winter coats. Other clothing items needed include pants, shirts, socks, underwear, and sweatshirts. Gently used clothing items are accepted. With winter weather quickly approaching, this need is urgent.
Donations can be made through our Amazon Wishlist, or dropped off at 437 W 200 S, Salt Lake City, UT on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. More information can be found here.
Housing Items Needed for Refugee Families in Utah
CCS is currently in need of cleaning supplies, diapers (size 5 and 6), razors, laundry detergent, paper towels and yard care items like hoses and lawn mowers for recently resettled refugee families.
Donations can be made through our Amazon Wishlist. Alternatively, donations can be dropped off at 440 S 400 W Suite D & E in Salt Lake City on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00-4:00 pm.
Thank you for the many ways that you join us in providing help and creating hope!
