The Maternal Health Volunteer supports and empowers expecting and new mothers as they learn to navigate life and motherhood in the United States.
Volunteers work closely with CCS case managers to assist clients in accessing American maternal services, such as attending medical appointments, updating Medicaid, obtaining baby supplies, and applying for WIC benefits. They empower mothers to create personalized birth plans and ensure they have the resources needed for a healthy start. This role provides vital support for mothers during a critical time in their journey.
