Refugee Public Transit Orientation Volunteer


Volunteers will join clients as they practice using public transportation to get to places they visit frequently.

Utilizing public transportation is incredibly important for CCS' Refugee Resettlement clients. However, for many clients it is a new experience. As a Public Transit Orientation Volunteer, you will work with clients as they learn the best ways to utilize this service.

GROUPS ALLOWED: This opportunity is best suited for individuals.

AGE REQUIREMENTS: 18+

COURT-ORDERED VOLUNTEER HOURS: This role is not suited for those wishing to complete court-ordered volunteer hours.

BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIRED: Background checks are required to participate in this opportunity.

Location varies based on clients place of residence. Most clients reside in Salt Lake County.

On average, this opportunity will require a minimum of two hours per client session.
